Today’s sermon

Why do we say “It is right to give him thanks and praise”?

Imagine this: you’re at a funeral mass and someone you love is in the casket. And when the priest says, “let us give thanks to lord our God.” You think to yourself, “You’ve got to be kidding me.This priest must be joking.”

Let us remember that with every loss, God gives us a gift. We sometimes don’t see it. But I promise you in faith, that there is always a gift.

Let us remember to lead hearts of gratitude. People fail to realise that the hardest moments in life are the greater opportunities for growth.

Blessed are the ones who are able to remember to be grateful through the pain.
