On making people happy (at your expense of looking like an idiot)

People consistently confuse me and disappoint me, it’s saddening, really. Sure, “don’t take it personally”, they say. But if it really wasn’t personal, why were they underhand and directed to question my own intentions?

He said today, “You’re all about making people happy. See. Sometimes you have to show people, hey! Don’t mess with me.

It definitely gave me some things to think about.

    1. I think there’s a really fine line between putting others before yourself and to be a doormat, but in this case it feels like I’m the door mat :< but yes I hope we find our ways too ā¤
